Hosted by Kitab Khana snd curated by Menka Shivdasani, listen to come wonderful poetry by 100TPC's global organisers, savour poems on nature and sustainability with Anand Pendharkar's SPROUTS, and join schoolchildren in Mumbai for a joyful evening of poetry, music, dance and drama. The event will be live on Kitab Khana's Facebook page as well as 100 Thousand Poets for Change Mumbai's Facebook page. Here are more details for what you can expect over the three days:

POETS ACROSS BORDERS
September 24, 7PM IST

Join 100 Thousand Poets for Change organisers as the global movement celebrates its 11th anniversary and Kitab Khana hosts the poetry festival in Mumbai for the 10th time. There will be readings by Faruk Buzhala (Kosovo), Lisa Vihos (Wisconsin), Ilya Sumanto (China), Dennis Formento (Louisiana), Jameela Nishat (Hyderabad). Plus, Menka Shivdasani will read poems by 100 TPC co-founder Michael Rothenberg.

SEEDS OF CHANGE: AN EVENING WITH SPROUTS
September 25, 6PM IST

Anand Pendharkar's SPROUTS partners with 100 TPC Mumbai to showcase poems on nature and sustainability. There will be readings by Shruti Kulkarni, Jayshree Murali, Teesha Thomas, Col. Ashwin Baindur (Retd.), Rahul Palekar, Subodh Khanolkar and other talented poets from different walks of life.

HAPPINESS - A STATE OF MIND
September 26, 6PM IST

Schoolchildren in Mumbai present their poems on the theme. Plus, music and dance performances to add a special spark. The programme is coordinated by Rati Dady Wadia and Katie Bagli, with Pooja Jaisingh's Fun Ki Pathshaala as the Logistics Sponsor. Cathedral and John Connon School, JB Petit High School for Girls, The Somaiya School and Fun Ki Pathshaala will be participating. There will be performances by Vareeja Thakkar and Commodore Sadashiv Vombatkere, along with a special song composed by Jyothi Ramachandran, former Head Principal, Mahapragya Public School and sung by rural children. The Chief Guest for the day will be Pratima Shrivastav, author of 'You Talk, I Listen', and Founder, HalloHappiness.
